Dear Wild Horse and Burro Defenders;
Many thanks to all of you who contacted Secretary Salazar’s office yesterday to ask him to rescind the appointment of Callie Hendrickson to BLM’s National Wild Horse and Burro Advisory Board. DOI & BLM received thousands of calls in protest all thanks to you!
Now, there is another important step you can take to stop the Hendrickson appointment. In conjunction with American Wild Horse Preservation Campaign, Animal Law Coalition, Front Range Equine Rescue, International Fund for Horses, Protect Mustangs, Respect4Horses, and Wild Horse Freedom Federation, we’ve created a petition asking the Secretary to rescind Ms. Hendrickson’s appointment and stop BLM from creating an Advisory Board stacked with pro-slaughter members. The petition with everyone’s signature will be presented at the next BLM Advisory Board Meeting.

Please take a moment to sign this petition on behalf of our wild horses and burros and share it with all your friends and colleagues. Some of you may have seen a petition or two out there on this subject. And we’d like to thank Debbie Catalina very much for agreeing to close her petition in order to support this unified effort.
Speaking with one voice we are a powerful force to protect wild horses still roaming in precious freedom as well as those held captive!

They want “OUR! wild Horses and Burros gone!

Why can our lands subport ranch cattle but not whats left of our mustangs & burros. If this keeps up I think I”ll boycot all the bugger joints really its the peoples land. I”m sure there are other reasions they want these few remaing simbuls & spirets of our past. would we be as far as we are with out leaning on these beast. maybe we may not of made it at all. well I aways believe that our country chose the wrong animal as our simbile sure the egale is bould and beautiful and flys, well have you ever really watch a horse surely they were gods gift to man kind we the people should save them not let the oil & cattle men & our goverment kill every last one of these beautiful spirets who helped us build this country you should be ashame.

PLEASE rescind Callie Hendrickson’s appointment to the BLM immediately. She does not and should not represent the views of the vast majority of Americans and I most certainly DO NOT want her representing mine or any of the wild mustangs and burro’s of the USA ! Placing Hendrickson in this position would be the equivalent of having a convicted killer allowed in the jury of a MURDER trial !

EVERYONE SHOULD SIGN THIS PETITION TO STOP THEHORSE SLAUGHTER. IT IS INHUMANE AND THEY ARE DESTROYING ALL THE HORSES AND BURROWS INTO EXTINCTION. STERILIZING HORSES AND PUTTING CATTLE ON CHEAP LAND WHICH SOME DON’T EVEN PAY THEIR BILL TO THE GOVERNMENT. THEY THINK THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW UNLESS YOU DO SOMETHING NOW.

Loved the photos of Cloud and his comrades/family. Thank you all for the fine work ur doing to protect these lovely wildlife. Continue ur litigation against this horrible killings and slaughters this govmt is doing against our precious wildlife, the little that is left of them.
I wonder if the children/daughters/sons of these ranchers and of Obama’s kids know what their parents/fathers are allowing to be done against these beautiful horses and burros. What would their children say to their fathers about this killing action by them….the protectors and role models of the children of these politicians.
