The airplane with banner with horse’s head and “Slaughter Salazar” on it flew over Longmont, Boulder, and Ft. Collins today during our protest. We were at the corner of a very busy intersection and received scores of affirmations from cars honking, waving, thumbs up” even stopping trying to write down Obama’s phone number. Network news people, as well as newspapers and radio stations were also there. There were maybe 4-5 negative comments the whole afternoon–negligible. Our informal straw poll afterwards confirmed that the vast majority of the public today is sympathetic to our cause. But we want more people for our next protest in Denver!

These wild horses belong to us – the American public. I suggest that we save our tax dollars and send Salazar “packing” in the next election. The governement is for the people, but no one in the government listens to the people. The incumbents should all go!!!!!

Please excuse spelling errors in my posting above. Have a look at curent activity in the Calico Complex roundups. Mare shot, foal run to death by helicopter and a brave stallion named “Freedom”. makes several attempts to freedom, finally jumping a six foot fence and busting through barbed wire with his chest, to his freedom, leaving behind his mares and family. See the UTUBE video through this link and photo stills at roundup.
