Join us in Denver June 14-15! Plus Livestream!

Tune in June 14 and 15 here for livestream of the workshop and advisory board meeting! Join The Cloud Foundation for a Dept. of Interior Workshop and BLM meeting in Denver on Monday June 14th and Tuesday June 15th! Come for the whole day or just a few hours to listen, speak and stand up for America’s wild herds on our public lands. DOI is attempting to push the “Salazar Plan” to the public to continue the removal, relocation and destruction of America’s wild horse and burro herds in the West. Speak up and learn from those attending this first-ever public workshop. Learn more about why the Salazar Plan is bad for America’s herds and American taxpayers alike (fact sheet online here). The Salazar Plan offers more of the same mismanagement that has led to having nearly twice as many wild horses in holding than left in their homes on public rangelands in the West, allowing massive roundups to continue at enormous cost.

Join us:
Monday, June 14, 2010 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the workshop and if you can, Tuesday June 15th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. as well for the Public Advisory Board meeting (sign up before noon to speak at the 3:00 p.m. comment period for 2-3 minutes). Keep reading to learn more and we look forward to seeing you in Denver! Representatives from the American Wild Horse Preservation Campaign, In Defense of Animals as well as Madeleine Pickens and many others will join the Cloud Foundation at this important workshop and meeting. LOCATION: Magnolia Hotel, 818 17th Street, Denver, CO 80202, (303) 607-9000

Your presence is requested– please spread the word for protecting and preserving our wild herds– not only Cloud’s but all those across the West! Agenda and more details follow…

I want to compliment ALL of you at denver for the outstanding job you did today! In spite of the moderator cutting you off and allowing sue wallis 30 minutes to talk off topic and ramble like someone on a overdose of vallium..I am very disappointed not to be able to hear the science discussion which many of us are most interested in i hope you will update us on this. special tank you to makendra for standing up to the moderator and asking for the moritorium..I could hear the cheering across the rock girl!!!
