Thank you, Terri. And Rachel Yoder’s painting speaks to us all. I am hoping your Medicine Hat stallion is found… mar

  2. Joey Says:

    Rachel!
That is such a beautiful, moving picture!
I am SO impressed with your artistic ability and the strong message it sends.
Just looking at your picture makes me want to cry; but mostly it makes me want to fight so much harder to save our American Mustangs.
Your picture alone says so many things.
Mostly, what it says to me as an adult and a caretaker of this earth for you as children and the generations of kids to come after you; is that “we” (meaning our present Government), are NOT doing what needs to be done to ensure that you, your kids and their kids have the opportunity to share our “home” with ALL life and not just life that is chosen by humans to be here.
The Government should NOT be deciding IF Mustangs should run wild and free as God intended. They should be deciding HOW to HELP our Mustangs KEEP roaming wild and free.
Bless your heart Rachel! You have a very strong young voice with your talent as an artist. Keep up the awesome work and know that anything you do to help save OUR Mustangs is one step closer to their FREEDOM!
Take care and keep drawing and painting!

THIS PICTURE IS WONDERFUL AND SO IS THE LETTER FROM THE YOUNG READER WHO DID THE ARTWORK. THIS WOULD BE GOOD TO COPY AND SEND TO YOUR SENATORS.

  4. lana gronewold Says:

Rachel, thank you for sharing with us your selfless gift..for only in the heart of child, young and old, should we entrust our future’s legacy.

  5. jan Says:

can say amen that this govt is not doing right by the children – look at health care bill that got passed today – the house was right – never had seen so much unlawfulness – president saying he will write exec order to take out one of the parts of the bill that people didnt like and after he gets their vote i would not be surprized that he puts it back in – if this govt does not care about its unborn children, what do you think they think about our horses??

  6. Rachel Yoder Says:

Thank you all for your comments and support. But I will say though “don’t give me the credit I’m just attempting to copy the original”. I pray though that the range land does not look like the one in the painting one day; desolete and empty. I am also ashamed of a government who does not see the pain, confusion, and heartache they are inflicting on American Mustangs and the people who care about them.

    best
    Rach

  7. Janet Ferguson Says:

What a strong image! Our artists help us to see, especially those who had been blind. Thank you, Rachel!

  8. J Ed Casillas Says:

great job and thanks for sharing

  9. Linda H Says:

This is one of the most telling images I’ve seen regarding the roundups. Rachel has an innate ability to portray the plight of the wild horses.

  10. LOUIE COCROFT Says:

THIS GIRL NEEDS TO HAVE A HORSE!

  11. jan Says:

maybe she has one – or give her a mustang foal

  12. LOUIE COCROFT Says:

THERE MUST BE A GROUP SOMEWHERE NEAR RACHEL WHERE SHE COULD GO AND BE WITH AND LEARN ABOUT HORSES. SOMETIMES HORSE RESCUE GROUPS BRING IN YOUNG PEOPLE TO HELP CARE FOR THE HORSES–IT IS A GOOD WAY FOR A KID TO GET STARTED.
