    This should convince us all that DOI, BLM, pro-slaughter groups, federal employees (i.e. Sue Wallis) and federal contractors are reading OUR news articles, blog comments & posting and listening to radio programs which are pro-Mustang/Burro, anti equine slaughter, pro civil rights and pro truth on issue of national concern. Was it only a week or two ago that Ruby pipleine truths were making our circles a big way?

    Oops. I should have said, too, that Federal agencies are also beginning to pay serious attention to those hard working groups and individuals bringing forth lawsuits, writing letters of demand, visting Senator offices, protesting in public, attending Advisory Board meetings, signing petitions, creating film for distribution, writing books, etc.

    Am I reading this right? 3 BILLION dollars to serve 150,000 homes? And at what additional REAL cost to our wilderness and our wild horses and all wildlife yet to be determined.

    I wonder if the persons in the 150,000 homes wouldn’t rather put solar panels on their roofs?

    3 billion divided by 150,000 = $20 MILLION EACH!

    What kind of passive solar house could be built for $20 million dollars, or how many homes could be outfitted with solar and window treatments, improved insulation, atrium bumpouts with heat collection, etc. for $3 billion?

      Kinda seems like a bit of overkill doesn’t it? We should try to stop this. Just think of the people who could behelped with this money and it would get put into communities and local businesses if it were put out there for solar. That could put solar onto schools and public buildings. It could help a third of our population have some relief from electrical bills. It would put lots of people back to work.

      This Project is a BIG RIP OFF!! mar

    Like I would ever believe anything the govt ever says again??????? I am so disillusioned by Washington and all the people WE elected who are supposed to be listening to US and try to do what we tell them we want, and they do ONLY what is on the agenda of big money interests, sorry for venting, but I am just fed up w/the lies, they act like we are just so stupid and will continue to believe all this garbage;
    there were some good comments about this article though, hopefully more and more people are becoming aware of what is really going on in the USA.

    IT IS A MATTER OF MONOPOLY FOR CORPORATIONS IF POSSIBLE FOR THEM. THEY WOULD LIKE TO CONTROL THE SUN AND WIND IN THE SAME WAY THAT THEY HAVE MONOPOLIZED THE OIL AND ELECTRICITY.
