There is a lot to read here and I am very impressed with Tracie and her viewpoint. We do need to make local involvement with herds legitimate, established with documentation and as much history as possible so as to help BLM implement better management decisions. I kept asking myself why it was I felt we needed to just go out and be herd watchers. Because that is the first step. Documenting and understanding the whole picture of a herds existence needs to be built and maintained. Organization which the Pryor Center gave the horses there, can only help become a presence to be respected. Public involvement will be our best influence and knowledge gathered will be our best influence as it has been in this campaign. Think local, work local. Mar
