Carbon County, WY Meeting- Nov. 14th

Carbon County Stockgrowers Annual Meeting in Saratoga, Wyoming is to be held on November 14th starting at 2:00pm. They have scheduled to have Rick Myers (District Representative National Wild Horse & Burro Board) as well as Melanie Gilbert (Wild Horse & Burro Specialist) present for discussion at the meeting. The meeting will be held at the Saratoga Inn.  It would be beneficial to have more supporters of the wild horses present to expose the truth and stand up for the horses. Please contact if you are planning on going.

Saratoga is South of Rawlins. Possible? Maybe. If I go I will be driving by Colorado Springs. Weather permitting also. Mar

Saratoga is south of Rawlins, but it is before you reach Rawlins. Drive west out of Laramie on I-80 approx. 80 miles to Walcott Junction. At Walcott Junction, turn off I-80 and head south on HWY 130 towards Saratoga. Saratoga is approx. 20 miles from the Walcott Junction/I-80 turnoff.

Following my computer browser throughout the web, came across an organization that appears to have members in many many states. It is a history of the west study organization(based inOKIE land), and perhaps would be a way for people to become connected to the history and issues of the West and perhaps have an opportunity to present the issue of the wild mustang problem to their local, Western history interested, neighbors. This org has been around “forever”:

The link isn’t the home page, but their link for their branch groups.
