National Public Lands Day September 26th Volunteer work for Penn’s cabin Pryor Mountain Wild Mustang Refuge rescheduling till materials arrive. Will post when new date.

I’m sorry, I don’t understand the post. Are you asking for volunteers for the wild mustang refuge for one day? Where is Penn’s cabin? Sorry to sound naive, it sounds interesting, I just can’t figure out what you need.

Volunteers were needed for National Public Land Day September 26th. Some Building materials were needed to do the project for Penn Cabin. This cabin is on The Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Refuge. It is available to stay at. See some of the Cloud series.
Ginger has stayed there. When I was young it was a landmark before the refuge. was rebuilt and is excellent.
The coordinator said some signs for the cabin were on the schedule for National Public Lands Day September 26th but not possible for that day. Just posted so if anybody was interested.I do not know new date for volunteering for Penn Cabin work.

Not travelling.
Trying to get a list of the current occupants of the Advisory Board of the BLM. So far no luck.
They meet again in 6 months in Nevada.

janet,
which advisory board? is the one you are talking about the “Division of Wild Horse and Burro Management Directory” of which don glenn is the “division chief?” if it is, go to this link.
http://www.blm.gov/wo/st/en/info/directory/wo-270_dir.html
it has a listing of all the so-called wh&b “specialists”
not sure if this is the list you are looking for or not….

Gale,
TCF is going to be meeting with the Committee of Energy and Natural Resources (25 Senators) on the 29th but we will have thousands (hopefully) gathered on the West Front Lawn of Capitol Hill. We will be asking for them to put the ROAM Act on Calendar and get it pushed through to Congress ASAP. Details will be coming soon, but what I can tell you is that we will be gathering on the West Front Lawn on Capitol Hill from 8:00AM to 4:00PM. People are encouraged to bring signs and we will also have T-Shirts available soon for people to buy and wear to these events to show their support. I hope this info helps!

Re BLM Advisory Board Meeting, today, Monday, Sept. 28. 2009. Live web cast. ????
It is 8:30 AM EST. I am on the East Coast. I cannot get any connection to the live coverage of the BLM Advisory Board Meeting. All I get from the Horse Power web site for todays BLM meeting is :”Coming Soon.”
I wonder if there is a delay in live coverage? It was to start in Arlington, Va. at 8 AM EST. I can still watch the past BLM meetings so I do not think it is a problem with my computer.
I would appreciate any feedback.
